Anubha is currently working as a senior legal counsel at the Corporate office of Bharti Airtel Limited under the Group General Counsel of Bharti Group. She has varied experience of 10 years ranging from litigation, corporate – commercial, intellectual property and finance transactions. At Bharti, her role is to lead and manage the intellectual property for the entire Bharti group. She is also a part of the corporate mergers and acquisitions legal team.
Anubha received special credit for great leadership, business acumen and work in relation to negotiations and closure of international information technology tie-up contracts. She won an award for Outstanding Performance in the year 2005-2006 amongst the all India Bharti Airtel legal team and received the top performer award consecutively for the year 2009-2010 and 2010-2011.
Anubha is an avid speaker at various forums including global conferences on intellectual property organised by LexisNexis, ITAG, CII, etc. as well as on merger and acquisition issues in business schools. She is a member of National Committee on Intellectual Property of CII as well as FICCI. She also participated recently as a young leader in the India-UK CEO-Forum’s Emerging Leaders Network.
Anubha has done her LL.B from Delhi University and was awarded Sumana Dutta Gold Medal for Best Economics Student at Miranda House. She pursued and topped the Intellectual Property Law Course at Indian Law Institute in the year 1999-2000.
